Students are expected to attend school 100% of the time.

Late coming is not permitted.
|
|
› If you arrive after 9.00am or late to any other class you must get a late slip from the Principal before entering the class. Give this late slip to your teacher.
|
|
› Latecomers will be marked “pa” which may be included as an absent in the overall attendance.
|
|
› Students who begin their day with period 2 are not excluded and must be on time for the start of the lesson.
|
If your are away for more than 2 days
|
|
› A doctors’ certificate must be handed in to the Principal on your return. Medical certificates must be from a registered doctor.
|
|
› Homeopaths, Chinese medicine, Acupuncture etc are not accepted by DIAC.
|
|
› Medical certificates are kept as a record of absenteeism but do not change the absent recording on the roll
|
Student attendance is recorded as a projected attendance.
|
|
› All students have a projected attendance of 100% for term 1.
|
|
› As absenteeism is recorded so the projected attendance for the end of the term is reduced.
|
|
› Projected attendance reflects the most a student can be present at school by the end of the term considering the times marked absent. Projected attendance can not increase !
|
If your projected attendance falls below 80%
|
|
› This is the minimum required attendance by DIAC you will be reported and you will face the possibility of having your visa cancelled
|
