Late coming is not permitted.

›    If you arrive after 9.00am or late to any other class you must get a late slip from the Principal before entering the class. Give this late slip to your teacher.

›    Latecomers will be marked “pa” which may be included as an absent in the overall attendance.

›    Students who begin their day with period 2 are not excluded and must be on time for the start of the lesson.

If your are away for more than 2 days

›    A doctors’ certificate must be handed in to the Principal on your return. Medical certificates must be from a registered doctor.

›    Homeopaths, Chinese medicine, Acupuncture etc are not accepted by DIAC.

›    Medical certificates are kept as a record of absenteeism but do not change the absent recording on the roll

Student attendance is recorded as a projected attendance.

›    All students have a projected attendance of 100% for term 1.

›    As absenteeism is recorded so the projected attendance for the end of the term is reduced.

›    Projected attendance reflects the most a student can be present at school by the end of the term considering the times marked absent. Projected attendance can not increase !

If your projected attendance falls below 80%

›    This is the minimum required attendance by DIAC you will be reported and you will face the possibility of having your visa cancelled
